![]() We purchased new moose handlebars and mounted them. Just match up the wire colors and your halfway there. We used the entire electronics harness from the donor trike and made some minor modifications to get the new light to connect. The airbox will mount the same way as the stock would fit. By using the carb intake manifold from the 200x the x carb worked no problem. We used the stock 200x motor mounts with hardly a problem. The paint dried and a week later we got enough motivation to try and mount the engine. We sanded the frame and repainted it the correct colors. That made it really difficult to paint the swingarm and frame that were spraypainted the wrong red and ugly white scheme. The swingarm pivot pin(bolt) wont come out so we opted to leave it in. We had the entire trike stripped of everything but the rear swingarm in about an hour. The original 200x engine had been taken apart by the previous owner and never reassembled so it wasnt like my project was going anywhere. He sold his old trike body parts on ebay and that paid for the new 200x ones. Well knowing that there was no turning back now I proceeded to help him take his trike apart. Owner’s and service manuals along with body panels, a handlebar, and a Cobra exhaust that were replaced during the refurbishment accompany the ATV.After purchasing this 84' 200x for 300.00 and just letting it sit for a few months too long I found my brother in my barn dismantelling his mint 81' ATC200 with intentions of using the engine on my project trike. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission and a drive chain. The engine is said to have been overhauled during the 2019 refurbishment, and service in preparation for the sale included replacement of the air filter and spark plug as well as an oil change. The 192cc SOHC four-stroke single is started with a kick lever and breathes through a 24mm piston-valve Keihin carburetor and a black-heat-shielded exhaust that exits under the seat. A Sierra digital tachometer/hour meter showing 9.9 hours of run time was surface-mounted to the frame during the refurbishment. The three-wheeler did not come equipped with an odometer or other instrumentation from the factory, and true mileage is unknown. Rebuilt suspension consists of an air-adjustable trailing-axle fork with blue gaiters as well as a box-section swingarm connected to a gas-charged monoshock with a remote reservoir and four-way adjustable rebound damping. Equipment includes trail lighting, a chrome headlight guard, a chrome rear grab bar, and a frame-mounted toolbox mounted beneath the left fender.Īluminum wheels are wrapped in 23.5×8″ Ocelot front and 22×11″ Wan Da A/T Master rear tires.
